Abstract
Laryngeal liposarcomas are rare, with only 13 previously well-document ed cases (to our knowledge). We report an additional case, which docum ents the use of computed tomography for treatment planning. Laryngeal liposarcomas appear to have a better prognosis than nonlaryngeal lipos arcomas; therefore, a critical analysis of reported cases enabled us t o identify clinical characteristics that contribute to the favorable p rognosis. We also propose a rational therapeutic approach.
