Va. Chechin et al., CRITICAL-REVIEW OF THEORETICAL-MODELS FOR ANOMALOUS EFFECTS IN DEUTERATED METALS, International journal of theoretical physics, 33(3), 1994, pp. 617-670
We briefly summarize the reported anomalous effects in deuterated meta
ls at ambient temperature commonly known as ''cold fusion'' (CF) with
an emphasis on the latest experiments, as well as the theoretical basi
s for the opposition to interpreting them as cold fusion. Then we crit
ically examine more than 25 theoretical models for CF, including unusu
al nuclear and exotic chemical hypotheses. We conclude that they do no
t explain the data.
