Abstract
A new array processing method based on a new array geometry and a spat ial filter to improve the resolution is presented. The array aperture can be increased by the new array geometry. The spatial frequency alia sing can be removed and the effective signal-to-noise (SNR) can be rai sed by the spatial filter. Simulation results are presented to illustr ate that the performance obtained by the new method is much better tha n that obtained by the existing methods.
