We study the process e-e- --> W-W-nu(e)nu(e) within the framework of t
he standard model of electroweak interactions. This mechanism for prod
ucing two W- bosons is a potential background for exotic reactions vio
lating lepton number conservation. At a centre-of-mass energy of 500 G
eV the total cross section is calculated to be 2.28 fb for unpolarized
beams. The energy behaviour of the cross section as well as some inst
ructive differential distributions are shown and the topology of the f
inal state is discussed.
