Abstract
We have observed the previously unseen decay modes LAMBDApi+pi0, SIGMA 0pi+pi0 and SIGMA0pi-pi+pi+ of the charmed baryon LAMBDA(c)+, as well as LAMBDA(c)+ --> SIGMA0pi+ observed previously by ARGUS. The branchin g ratios for these four decay modes relative to LAMBDA(c)+ --> pK-piare measured to be 0.73 +/- 0.09 +/- 0.16, 0.36 +/- 0.09 +/- 0.10, 0.2 1 +/- 0.05 +/- 0.05, and 0.21 +/- 0.02 +/- 0.04, respectively. Using t he recent CLEO measurement of the branching ratio for LAMBDA(c)+ --> p K-pi+, these modes account for 6% of LAMBDA(c)+ decays.
