The clinical effectiveness of cyclophosphamide has been evaluated in a
group of 19 Alzheimer's patients with a diagnosed immunological defec
t of the cellular type. In 15 patients (ie. 79% of the cases), an impr
ovement has been noted in their mental and neurological state correlat
ed with improved immunological parameters and better results on psycho
metric scales.
