In addition to the known compounds senegalensin, lupinifolin, erythris
enegalone, and auriculatin, two new isoflavones named erysenegalensein
H and erysenegalensein I were isolated from the dichloromethane extra
ct of the stem bark of Erythrina senegalensis DC. On the basis of spec
troscopic methods their structures were elucidated as llyl)-2''-hydrox
yisopropyldihydrofurano4'',5'':6, 7-isoflavone and ylallyl)-3''-hydr
oxy-2'',2''-dimethyldihydropyrano 5'',6'':6,7-isoflavone, respective
