Abstract
The physical mechanism and general properties of the motion of relativ istic charged particles in the cyclotron autoresonance regime are disc ussed. The motion of particles out of the autoresonance is analyzed. V arious methods of maintaining the regime are discussed. Applications o f the autoresonance are considered.
