CALCULATION OF ELECTRIC-FIELDS IN PLANAR HETEROGENEOUS STRUCTURES

A method is developed for calculating electric fields induced by photo n radiation in a one-dimensional multilayer packer of dielectric mater ials and calculations are performed. Analytical formulas are derived f or calculating the intensity of electric fields in the case when a sho rtened multilayer system is irradiated with radiation pulses neglectin g the runoff of the accumulated charge. It is shown that the intensity of the electric fields excited by the photon radiation can approach t he breakdown fields for polymers.
