The article deals with special traits of the new ''tomographic'' compu
terized system for eddy-current inspection of elements of a modern sup
erconducting lead based on the intermetallic compound Nb3Sn. The artic
le presents the results of experimental investigations and substantiat
ions, concerning the new system of computerized tomography, of the met
hodological solutions of nondestructive quality central of elements of
the superconducting lead which are highly sensitive and reliable.
