Vi. Sharando et Sa. Novikov, STUDY OF GALVANIC COATINGS BY THE THERMOELECTRIC AND MAGNETIC-SEPARATION METHODS WITH DIFFERENT APPLICATION AND HEAT-TREATMENT CONDITIONS, Russian journal of nondestructive testing, 32(5), 1996, pp. 423-425
An experimental study is made of the dependence of measurements of the
rmo-emf and magnetic pull an the annealing temperature of galvanic nic
kel coatings applied to bronze BrKh08. It is shown that a connection e
xists between the parameters of the nondestructive testing and the con
dition of the surface of the substrate, which is subjected to grinding
, pickling, and annealing. The test parameters are also related to the
presence of a highly defective, nonequilibrium sublayer composed of t
he material at the coating-substrate interface. The findings make it p
ossible to use the given methods for studies and comparative evaluatio
ns of. The effect of coating application conditions on the course of d
iffusion processes during heat treatment.
