S. Passerini et al., LAMINATED ELECTROCHROMIC WINDOWS-BASED ON NICKEL-OXIDE, TUNGSTEN-OXIDE, AND GEL ELECTROLYTES, Journal of the Electrochemical Society, 141(4), 1994, pp. 1025-1028
The characteristics and the performance of solid-state, laminated elec
trochromic windows using tungsten oxide as the principal electrochromi
c electrode and nonstoichiometric nickel oxide as the counterelectrode
separated by selected gel electrolytes, are presented and discussed.
These advanced-design, electro-optical devices show a very promising b
ehavior in terms of light modulation and cyclability.
