Abstract
The characteristics and the performance of solid-state, laminated elec trochromic windows using tungsten oxide as the principal electrochromi c electrode and nonstoichiometric nickel oxide as the counterelectrode separated by selected gel electrolytes, are presented and discussed. These advanced-design, electro-optical devices show a very promising b ehavior in terms of light modulation and cyclability.
