Abstract
Comparison of four independent Monte Carlo electron transport codes MO CA, OREC, CPA and KURBUC has been made in terms of radial distribution of interactions, point kernels and the absolute frequency of energy d epositions events f(>E) in small cylindrical volumes of sizes similar to segments of DNA and chromatin fibre. The results show differences i n clustering properties of the ionising radiation in the DNA size targ ets.
