A method of treatment of electro-optic data, based on fitting of the f
ield intensity dependencies of the effects by scaling of the field int
ensity, is proposed. The method permits the determination of relative
changes in particle electric polarizability and its relaxation frequen
cy for optically complicated dispersions (particles of large dimension
s, of high refractive index, of low optical anisotropy, of concentrati
