Abstract
We report on experimental investigation of the nonlinear optical respo nse of quantum wells containing a two-dimensional electron gas. As the magnetic field is increased, and the second Landau level is emptied o f electrons, we find a sharp decrease of the four wave mixing signal a t that level.
