Abstract
We propose a new system consisting of magnetic tunneling barriers. A t heoretical investigation is made of electrons moving in.a plane tunnel ing and ballistically through these magnetic barriers. The differences between the usual tunneling problem and the tunneling through magneti c barriers are pointed out. A resonant tunneling structure consisting of such magnetic tunneling barriers is proposed and exhibits pronounce d resonant structure.
