Abstract
Chromium substituted calcium ferrites are prepared with the chemical c omposition CaCrxFe12-xO19 (x=3,4,8,9) by standard ceramic technique. T he X-ray diffraction patterns show single phase with magnetoplumbite s tructure (space group P6(3)/mmc or D6h4). The magnetic and electrical properties are studied in the temperature range 300-800 K.
