Abstract
Changes in blood composition of Ganjam does maintained on natural brow sing with concentrate feeding and naturally infested with sarcoptic mi tes were studied. The mite infestation brought about a depression in s erum acid phosphatase and aspartate transaminase activity, whereas ser um creatinine concentration was elevated by this infestation. Serum al anine transaminase activity and total protein concentration remained u naffected by sarcoptic mite infestation. A nonsignificant elevation in serum alkaline phosphatase activity and decline in serum urea and cho lesterol concentration were observed.
