Abstract
The skin of camel was moderately pigmented over general body areas. Th e lateral body areas, upper lip, lower lip, nostrils and upper eyelid were comparatively more pigmented than other areas studied. The melani n pigment was seen in medulla, cortex and outer root sheath Of hair fo llicle and also in the epithelium of sweat gland duct.
