G. Falkovich, TURBULENCE WITH AN INFINITE NUMBER OF CONSERVATION-LAWS, Physical review. E, Statistical physics, plasmas, fluids, and related interdisciplinary topics, 49(3), 1994, pp. 2468-2471
It is shown that if the pair correlation function of any tracer in inc
ompressible turbulent flow is scale invariant with the exponent zeta2,
then the exponent of two-point function of 2nth order does not equal
nzeta2. In this case, the probability distribution should depend, gene
rally speaking, on an infinite number of parameters (fluxes of the int
egrals). Three examples are considered: two-dimensional vorticity casc
ade, action cascade in Clebsch variables, and entropy cascade in inhom
ogeneously heated fluid.
