Abstract
A six-feature all-sky star field identification algorithm has been dev eloped, integrated with a CCD-based imaging camera, and tested at the Table Mountain Observatory, California. Calibration of the CCD-based c amera to minimize the error in the measured star parameters due to ins trument error and experimental conditions is discussed. A set of obser vatory tests on star fields with this intelligent camera is described.
