Abstract
Some new strategies, such as the use of hydrotropes, surfactants, co-s olvent, etc., were applied to the Hofmann reaction of fatty amides to obtain isocyanates, amines and carbamates. Additionally, some industri ally important aromatic amines were synthesised.
