Abstract
Experimental and theoretical results of the intraband optical Stark ef fect in CdTe are reported. The polarization dependent blue-shift of th e IS exciton under the influence of a pump-laser is shown. For the fir st time a Stark shift of 2P excitons is detected with the use of two-p hoton absorption.
