Abstract
In chromium doped Li2Ge7O15 (LGO) crystals the stationary photocurrent dependence on the visible optical pumping intensity and the effect of additional IR illumination on the photocurrent drastically depend on the content of Cr ions in different charge states. A model of photoion ization, trapping and recombination processes in optically excited LGO :Cr crystals is proposed.
