Pk. Muhuri et Dk. Hazra, DENSITY AND VISCOSITY FOR PROPYLENE CARBONATE PLUS 1,2-DIMETHOXYETHANE AT 298.15, 308.15, AND 318.15-K, Journal of chemical and engineering data, 39(2), 1994, pp. 375-377
Densities and viscosities have been determined as a function of mole f
raction for propylene carbonate + 1,2-dimethoxyethane at 298.15, 308.1
5, and 318.15 K. The excess molar volumes (V(m)E) have been calculated
from the results. The values of V(m)E are found to be negative over t
he entire composition range and at all three temperatures studied. Kin
ematic viscosity data have been used to calculate the interaction para
meters (nu12 and nu21) for the three-body interactions of the McAllist
er equation.
