We study the dynamics of a two frequency wiggler high current Compton
free electron laser (FEL) oscillator. We show that the non-linear phas
e of the radiation amplification and saturation mechanisms are quite d
ifferent from the standard case, leading both to strong efficiency enh
ancement and sideband inhibition. We give a detailed scenario for the
dynamics, allowing one to obtain a priori estimates and to draw operat
ional conclusions.
