Abstract
A pulsed wire system was constructed and used for undulator magnetic f ield measurements. The use of a novel type of optical detector signifi cantly simplifies the system. Results of magnetic field measurements o btained with the pulsed wire method and with Hall probes are compared, and the high accuracy obtainable with the system is demonstrated.
