BREAST METASTASIS FROM GASTRIC SIGNET-RING CELL-CARCINOMA, MIMICKING INFLAMMATORY CARCINOMA - A CASE-REPORT

We report a case of breast metastasis of signet ring cell gastric canc er clinically presented as a primary inflammatory carcinoma. Metastase s to the breast are uncommon; review of the literature demonstrated on ly 300 cases. The clinical and radiographic features of the metastatic lesion were unlike those reported In the literature. Although a prima ry signet ring cell breast carcinoma was described, the pathologic pat terns of the breast lesion, here reported, lead us to conclude this wa s a metastasis and not another primary tumor.
