Abstract
This paper tries to capture the essence of my work with scientific vis ualization as practiced by a scientist. It presents a summary of what scientific visualization involves, why it is important, and a little o n the difficulty of publishing such creations. It leaves it up to the readers to gain what they need, if only to remind them of the images a nd videos presented at the plenary session.
