Abstract
Four cases of inadvertent intracapsular lens delivery secondary to zon ular lysis occurring during planned manual extracapsular cataract extr action were reported. Theoretical and practical considerations were pr esented based on these observations and litterature review. These cons iderations would suggest relaxing incisions when capsulorhexis and pla nned extracapsular cataract extraction are associated.
