Abstract
Twelve patients with Graves' ophthalmopathy (grade 1-6, ATA classifica tion) were treated with Cyclosporin-A, systemically in combination wit h methylprednisolone. We observed slight or moderate favourable effect in 9 cases. Our data suggest that the benefit was due to the methylpr ednisolone, the effectivity of which was enhanced by the cyclosporin e ven in the glucocorticoid-resistant cases.
