Abstract
This is a report on an innovative program to improve technical service s throughout the state of Minnesota. The program is unique in that it provides for regular workshop sessions taught by teams of trainers who have available to them well-developed manuals for trainers and studen ts, complete with teaching materials, transparencies, handouts, exerci ses, and self-assessment tools. The background, purpose and goals, and first successes of the program are described.
