Abstract
Polymerizable enamines were synthesized by the reaction of 2-acetoacet oxyethyl methacrylate (AAEMA) with various aliphatic mono- and diamine s. The enamines were characterized by elemental analyses, IR, H-1 NMR and C-13 NMR spectroscopy. Radical polymerization of synthesized enami nes yielded polymers with pendant enamine groups which were also prepa red by the reaction of poly(AAEMA) with the corresponding amines.
