The injection of a Bloch point, along a Neel line residing in a Bloch
wall separating two magnetic domains, was monitored by direct line obs
ervation and careful control of the lines state. Injection was achieve
d by pushing selected lines into a region where the surface had been i
on-implanted, resulting in a modification of the spins orientation alo
ng the line at surface level. The optical observation of lines relies
on an anisotropic dark field imaging technique developed earlier. Dire
ct confirmation of the micromagnetic picture of a Bloch point-containi
ng line is obtained.
