Abstract
A monograph of Hasteola and its two species is presented: H. suaveolen s, which has often been treated as a species of Cacalia, and a new spe cies from Florida, H. robertiorum. Treatments of both species include habit, micromorphology, chromosome numbers, ecological setting, and ra nge. The genus has senecionoid affinity rather than cacalioid.
