Abstract
The Spanish general election of 6 June 1993 gave the PSOE their fourth consecutive victory since 1982. However, for the first time in four s uccessive elections, no party obtained an absolute majority in the Con greso de los Diputados (Lower House). A new political dynamic may be a rising in Spanish politics as a result of some interesting changes in electoral behaviour.
