Abstract
This paper further develops the Generic Reference Model Approach to bu ild a method of knowledge extraction which is suitable for use by non- expert practitioners in a variety of countries. The method, TOX, was d eveloped to solve the specific problems encountered in the MODEMA [3] project which is building a knowledge based browsing system to support queries relating to integration of people with disabilities into paid employment.
