Abstract
The reaction of lithiated (benzothiazol-2-ylthio)(benzotriazol-1-yl)-m ethane with n-propyl iodide yielded: benzothiazol-2-yl-thio)(benzotria zol-1-yl)methane, iazol-2-yl)(benzotriazol-1-yl)(propyl-thio)methane a nd (benzotriazol-1-yl)(propylthio)methane. Reactions of 2-methylthiobe nzothiazole with 1-methylbenzotriazole 2-methylbenzotriazole and (benz otriazol-1-yl)(phenylthio)methane are also described.
