Abstract
This paper addresses the development of the image analysis technique o f flow field analysis to evaluate local orientation in a fibrous assem bly. The algorithms are evaluated using simulated images presented in Part I of the series. The results are compared with those from the tra cking and Fourier methods presented in Parts II and III.
