Abstract
A new 50 1 pilot scale reactor was used to carry out solid-state culti vations in sterile conditions using a forced aeration system with a pl anetary agitation device. The medium containing wheat bran wetted with a glucose solution was kept sterile for 8 days at-32-degrees-C.
