Abstract
An infrared absorption spectrum of the nu2 band of (HN3)-N-14 has been measured with a spectral resolution of 0.006 cm-1. Seven DELTAK(a) = 0 subbands have been identified, and the rotational structure of each band has been assigned and analyzed to give effective rotational const ants and values for the subband origins. In the observed spectra, hot band transitions are clearly evident. Two subbands due to transitions from the nu5 state have been assigned and analyzed. (C) 1994 Academic Press, Inc.
