Abstract
Complete description of cross-section of the Riphean ophiolites in the Eastern part of Baikal-Muj belt divided in terms of tectonics was pre sented. Boninites associated with iceland-arc volcanic rocks of Kiljan suit were first discovered. The geochemical peculiarities of ophiolit es and recent geochronological data allow the age correlation with cor responding ophiolites of Gargan continental block marginal zone in the SE part of Eastern Sajan mountains.
