Abstract
Cutaneous lesions were observed in three geldings on a new lot of stra w. A suspicion of stachybotryotoxicosis was based on epidemiological c onsiderations. It was confirmed by laboratory investigation (isolation of the strain, skin test). They recovered on administration of amoxic illin and the contaminated straw was destroyed.
