Abstract
The relative cross sections for non-Rutherford backscattering of He-4 ions from carbon atoms at the energy of 2.0-9.0 MeV were measured at a backscattering angle theta(lab) = 165-degrees. The results are presen ted in both graphical and numerical form with typical uncertainties le ss than 3%. In addition, the feature of the well-known resonance at E( r) = 4.262 MeV is discussed.
