Bc. Shin, COMPUTATION OF HYDROSTATIC PIEZOELECTRIC COEFFICIENTS FOR 1-3 COMPOSITES BY THE FINITE-ELEMENT METHOD, Sensors and actuators. A, Physical, 40(3), 1994, pp. 191-194
The hydrostatic piezoelectric charge coefficients (d(h)) and hydrostat
ic piezoelectric voltage coefficients (g(h)) of 1-3 PZT/polymer compos
ites have been calculated by two equations containing the stress tenso
rs of each element. A composite model is divided into 162 elements, an
d the stress distributions are computed under 0.7 MPa hydrostatic pres
sure using the finite-element method. The higher d(h) value is found f
or the composite with 30.9% PZT and the higher g(h) value for the comp
osite with 19.8% PZT.
