Abstract
The natural radioactivity (Ac-228, Ra-226, K-40) in typical building m aterials of the north-western part of Greece (Epirus), has been measur ed. The results are discussed in terms of limits to the accepted natur al radioactivity levels and are compared with similar values reported in the literature. Radon emanation factors have also been determined v ia gamma-spectroscopy.
