TECHNOLOGICAL EVALUATION OF NEW SUGAR MAK ING CENTRIFUGE ARO 90-1600

The article engages in evaluation of technological operation of centri fuge prototype ARO 90-16000, which took place in sugar factory Dobrovi ce in sugar beet season 1991. The centrifuge was designed, constructed and manufactured in ZVU Hradec Kralove. It is a new type of automatic recycling sugar making centrifuge with bottom discharge of crystals. All designed parameters were fulfilled during the centrifuge operation . The charge of centrifuge drum 1 600 kg and the guaranteed number 24 cycles per hour at time of a cycle 150 s were reached. There was evalu ated the dependance of quality of separated sugar and composition of s eparated syrups at various operational conditions on pouring time and on other adjustable parameters. The optimum conditions of operation wa s designed on basis of results.
