Abstract
Complexes of the types M(H-2acacth)Cl2 [M = Mn(II), Co(II), Ni(II) and Cu(II)l and M(acacth)(H2O)2 [M = Ni(II), Cu(II) and Zn(II); H-2acacth = acetylacetonebis(2-thenoylhydrazone)] have been isolated through te mplate reaction of the metal chloride, acetylacetone (acac) and 2-then oylhydrazine (th) in neutral and alkaline solutions, respectively. The complexes have been characterized by physico-chemical methods, such a s molar conductance, magnetic susceptibility, spectroscopy (IR, NMR, e lectronic, photoacoustic and ESR) and X-ray powder diffraction.
