Abstract
A simple and rapid spectrophotometric method, based on the oxidation w ith dichromate ion, for the determination of vitamin C is described. A bsorbance of chromium(III) produced is measured at 582 nm. The method is applied to the determination of vitamin C in pharmaceutical prepara tions, fruits and milk.
