Abstract
Two new iridoid glucosides, alatoside and thunaloside, have been isola ted from the leaves of Thunbergia alata along with the known iridoid g lucosides, stilbericoside, 6-epi-stilbericoside and thunbergioside. Th e structural elucidation of the new iridoid glucosides by spectroscopi c and chemical methods is described.
